Ijero-Ekiti remains the seat of untapped wealth in Ekiti State. A land so endowned with mineral resources.Over the three decades ago we were taught in elementary school of the vast deposit of solid minerals in Ijero-Ekiti. This natural gift has not been properly harnessed by the Federal Government. Ijero Ekiti is a town in Ekiti State of Nigeria in West Africa. “Ijero Ekiti” refers to a common thought or mutual understanding which is situated in the northwest part of Ekiti State. Ijero Ekiti is the headquarters of Ijero Local Government since 1976.
